The wedding season is blowing in this week with the spring, so I thought I'd brush the dust off my blog and begin writing again. I feel a little bit rusty! What I'm loving at the moment: this fresh new space I've found to blog in. I have plans (many many plans) on fixing up the place, but for now, the clean white palette will have to do.
Besides all that is floral, these pages will undoubtedly mention life with kids (I've got two of them), books I've devoured, sources of inspiration, meals I've ruined...the wonderful trivialities go on and on. In short, life + flowers. Not a bad combination.

Why Vale of Enna?
In Greek mythology, the Vale of Enna is known as a beautiful valley where the "ground is covered with flowers" and "Spring reigns perpetual." In literature, it's been paralleled to the Elysian Fields of Greek mythology and the Garden of Eden of the Bible - both places of paradise and perfect beauty. Tragically, it is also the location of Persephone's famous abduction by Hades into the underworld - which mars it just a bit. Needless to say, we like to ignore that part.
